I was completing my final assignment for my photography class and came up with some adorable pictures of Ty. Look!
Here's my 2nd fave of the shoot--I love his eyes in this one.
This was the one I submitted. Don't you LOVE this face? I feel like I met my goal for the course--to learn to use my camera's features to capture pictures of what my kids REALLY look like, not just say "cheese" photos. I got great feedback, and the instructor said it's my best photo yet. It was also chosen as a photo of the week. YAY!
She even fixed it up for me in photoshop as it was slightly underexposed. She did not do this for everyone, so it made me feel "special." I love the result.
I was very happy as she commented that I have a "knack" for great framing. I was glad to hear that I actually don't stink at photography (I still have much to learn though, including photoshop). Did I mention I'm getting photoshop for free by the end of the month? They purchased a license for all teachers at our school--YIPPPEEEEE!!!!!!!
P.S. Have a wonderful weekend!

I am so jealous!! I LOVE Photoshop! I have the trial version of CS3 for the next 22 days and am loving every minute of it. I may have to get photography tips from you, though...I am more on the graphic end of the program.
Great shots of Ty. So precious.
You and I need to hang out more! It looks like we have a bunch in common. Thanks for the garden tips, too!! I love fellow veggie-gardeners!
that picture is precious!!! and sooo funny!! I can't believe you get photoshop for free!!!
Hey girl- Those are AWESOME photos!! I would love to take a class on how to use my camera's features and take better photos. I need photoshop classes as well. We own it, but I have no idea how to use it. You can teach me both :) Glad you enjoyed the class!
Love them! You know, your teacher would hate me, but I actually like the underdeveloped one better. Makes his eyes darker and poutier...and the grass deeper.
But that's just me! Photoshop is the coolest! And so is your district for buying it for you!
Can't wait to hear about your class and what you learned. Once we get there, we'll sit down somewhere, have dinner, and catch up. We'll be in College Station May 18th - June 25th? We plan to do lots of driving on the weekends to check out the area and visit S.A. so maybe we can stop by your place.
Keep on shootin' those pictures. You have a really good eye and really cute subjects- LOL!

Great pics! Ty is such a cutie! Where did you take this photography class?? What a great opportunity!
as of last night, the twins are off continuous monitoring! So I'm thinking that's a good thing. Jana (weaver, but not really weaver anymore)said the babies seem to be pretty happy just hanging out. They have good heartbeats and all. So far so good :)
Crichelle is having to have the babies today, be praying for them!
